The Pennsylvania State Police, Selingsgrove, Snyder County, Pennsylvania, continue their investigation into the July 1997, homicide of Donald Edward Seebold III.

The 21 year old Seebold was killed on July 13, 1997, by an unknown suspect or suspects in Centre Township, Snyder County, Pennsylvania. Seebold was beaten about the head and face, his death was a result of blunt trauma to the head, and investigators believe it was inflicted with some sort of object. Authorities state that at approximately 2:00 a.m., Seebold had been walking east along Troxelville Road, after just leaving a pig roast party. He had traveled approximately three (3) miles when, at this location, his friends later passing by in a car, observed him laying face down in the middle of the road.
