Chester County Detectives, West Chester, PA., continue their investigation into the homicide of Carl Devalia. On February 2, 1990, the 40 year old Devalia was reported missing to authorities, after failing to return to his residence in the 300 block of West Lincoln Highway, Coatesville. On September 13, 1993, the skeletal remains, positively identified by dental records as Devalia, were discovered by hunters in a wooded area along Misty Patch Road just off of West Chester Road. An Autopsy revealed that the cause of death had been multiple stab wounds. Investigators believe that Devalia’s death may have been drug related.
