| The Upper Darby Township Police Department, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, continues their investigation into the death of a yet unidentified black female.
On Sunday, February 20, 2000, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the body of an unidentified black female was discovered in a remote wooded section of Cobbs Creek Park (Fairmont Parks) in Delaware County Pennsylvania. Investigators state that the victim had been doused with a flammable liquid and the body set on fire after her death. The cause of death has been ruled a homicide. Investigators have pursued many leads they have received on this case but, to date, none of them have resulted in the identification of the deceased. Authorities described the victim as a black female, between 30-50 years old with brown eyes and graying black hair. She was approximately 5’5″ tall and weighed between 90-125 pounds. She had a full set of dentures and a partial lower plate that had brackets on each side and hooked onto permanent teeth on the lower jaw. What You Can Do:
