Case Facts:

Pennsylvania State Police, Bedford, are seeking the identity of a suspect wanted in connection with a Bank Robbery at the Hoblitzel National Bank, in the Village of State Line, Londonderry Township, Bedford County. On March 11, 1997 at approximately 3 P.M., an unknown suspect stopped in the parking lot of the bank on a red motorcycle, removed his helmet and put on a ski mask. He entered the bank, approached a teller and demanded money: a large sum of $1. 00 bills were taken in this robbery. The suspect then fled on the motorcycle and headed north on State Route 0096. He may have turned west onto Palo Alto or Kennel Mills Road and traveled into Somerset County. The suspect was armed with what appeared to be a large frame semi-automatic pistol and carried a brown, tubular shaped bookbag with a drawstring to transport the money.

Description:

  • 20’s to early 30’s in Age – White Male
  • Between 5 foot 9 inches and 6 feet tall
  • Large Build between 220 and 240 lbs.
  • Wearing a light weight black turquoise and plum colored jacket, blue jeans, black leather driving gloves, dark blue ski mask and a silver motorcycle helmet at the time of the robbery.
